Meta AI glasses look like the frames you already know — Ray-Ban's Wayfarer, Oakley's performance shapes — but they build a camera, open-ear speakers, microphones, and Meta AI directly into the frame. Say "Hey Meta" to snap a photo, take a call, get directions, or ask a question, all without touching your phone.

We carry the current generation from both Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta, and our licensed opticians can fit most styles with your actual prescription — so you're not choosing between the technology and clear vision. We serve patients across Mississauga, Etobicoke, Brampton, and Oakville.

Common Questions

Smart Glasses FAQ

What are Meta AI glasses?

Meta AI glasses are regular-looking eyeglasses and sunglasses with a built-in camera, open-ear speakers, microphones, and Meta AI, activated hands-free by saying "Hey Meta." They let you take photos and video, listen to music or take calls, and ask Meta AI questions without pulling out your phone.

Can I get Meta AI glasses with my prescription?

Yes, in most cases. All five Ray-Ban Meta styles support prescription lenses, and Blayzer Optics and Scriber Optics were built specifically for all-day prescription wear. The lifestyle-focused Oakley Meta HSTN also supports prescription lenses. Prescription options for the performance-focused Oakley Meta Vanguard are more limited — ask our opticians about current options for your prescription.

What's the difference between Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta?

Both run on the same core Meta technology — camera, open-ear audio, and Meta AI — but in different frame styles. Ray-Ban Meta comes in five shapes: Wayfarer, Headliner, and Skyler for everyday wear, plus Blayzer Optics and Scriber Optics built for all-day prescription comfort. Oakley Meta comes in two styles: the more lifestyle-oriented HSTN, and the wraparound, sport-performance Vanguard built for athletes.

How long does the battery last?

It varies by model. Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 2) lasts up to 8 hours of mixed use on a single charge. Oakley Meta Vanguard offers up to 9 hours of daily use (6 hours of continuous audio), with the charging case adding roughly 36 more hours.
