About Transitions Signature GEN S
Transitions photochromic lenses are clear indoors and darken automatically in sunlight, so you don't need a separate pair of prescription sunglasses for everyday outdoor light changes. All of them block 100% of UVA and UVB rays and filter blue light both indoors and out.
We fit three Transitions options, each tuned for a different level of light sensitivity — from an everyday all-rounder to the darkest lens Transitions makes, with or without polarization. Our opticians can help you pick the right one.

The everyday option — clear indoors, dark outdoors — for most wearers.
Clear indoors, darkening automatically in sunlight, then fading back to clear quickly once you're back inside.
Blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays and filters blue-violet light both indoors and out, on top of vision correction, in 8 colors from neutral everyday shades to more expressive style colors.

Transitions XTRActive
The darkest Transitions lens — activates even behind a car windshield.
Built for wearers who are especially light-sensitive or spend a lot of time in bright light. Clear with a hint of protective tint indoors, and reaches the darkest levels of any Transitions lens outdoors — up to category 3, sunglass-level darkness, even in hot weather.
Unlike standard photochromic lenses, it also activates behind a car windshield, darkening for extra protection while driving. Filters up to 7 times more blue-violet light than a clear lens indoors.

Darkens, polarizes, and adapts to light — all in one lens.
Combines photochromic light adaptation with dynamic polarization: the lens darkens and polarizes together as it activates outdoors, reaching up to 90% polarization efficiency, similar to dedicated polarized sunglasses.
Clear indoors with just a hint of protective tint, and activates behind a car windshield like other XTRActive lenses, darkening for driving without polarizing. A strong option if reflected glare off water, snow, or roads bothers you.
